Volunteer Policy

- Each family is required to fulfill 1 credit of volunteer service.  Volunteer opportunities are posted on PlayMetrics.com (the registration site) as 0.5 or 1 credit per opportunity.

- Approximately 1-3 hours = 1/2 credit, 3-6 hours = 1 credit.

- Being a board member, coach, assistant coach and team parent fulfills your volunteer credit.

- The volunteer year is January 1 through December 31.

- A $350 volunteer deposit is REQUIRED for each family before practice for the spring/summer season. This deposit is made directly on the registration website via debit/credit card. The deposit will be processed in the first week of January following the spring/summer season.

- If the volunteer credit is not completed for the previous year, the family will owe that volunteer deposit and will be required to submit the volunteer deposit for the current year. The child will not be able to play if this is not completed.

- Volunteers must complete their entire volunteer credit for their deposit NOT to be processed. Partial completion of the credit will NOT result in partial return of volunteer deposit.

- Families who do not plan to volunteer can pay the volunteer deposit in full at the time of player registration.

- Volunteer credits are not transferable and may not be rolled over from year to year.

- Compassionate exceptions may be issued upon board approval.

Volunteer opportunities will be posted as they become available. They might include, but are not limited to:

Mowing | Drop in night | Gertens flower sale

Rec soccer opening night | Snack Shack | Bavarian Blast Parade

Annual picnic | Coaching | Assistant coaching
